DIY process 3 overall

Did something gone wrong? my several concerns:

1. the collar, doesn't seems right, even for a collar without interface
2. too much fabric at 'armpit to shoulder bone?
3. the waist, too.....
4. I am using those interior 'pak' metal button, to hold up the two front fabric in its place, is this the right way to do it? is there a better way?

I see you're having the same challenge with your "fronts" that I had in the beginning - that awkward dip in the angle of the cross as it hangs. I found that I had to cut the seam that attaches the fronts to the back differently, in order to lift up that front angle and keep it from drooping like that. It's hard to explain...maybe I'll take a couple of pics and post it on my blog to explain! I'm glad you have found me and hope that we can share our trials and wisdom with eachother in this endeavor! cheers!

The front part should end directly under the sleeve. The sleeve is ok, not too wide or narrow. I think the collar can be made wider. If you want to make it wider, you will need to add abit of those plastic stuf inside to harden it. For mine, the collar has been hardened.

But I must say that this is a very good first attempt!

riri,
Glad you hear from you. Thanx for your comment and looking forward for your explanation. Hope we will have fun in these trails.

Miko,
Yeah, the result is rather..., but I tried to remind myself it's an achievement and good first attempt.
Plastic, interface you mean. There is interface you can you iron on the fabric to make is stiff. I know sometimes people use interface on the waist area of a skirt.
